VOX IURA’S 1ST NATIONAL QUIZ COMPETITION ON CONSTITUTIONAL LAW

Constitutional Law is an integral facet of every lawyer. VOX IURA’s National quiz competition is an appropriate medium to enhance the knowledge on Constitutional Law. The participants can be assured that their proficiency in Constitutional Law and current affairs would be augmented after the conclusion of every round.

2. PARTICIPATION & ELIGIBILITY

Students pursuing bachelor or master degree in law courses, research scholars, academicians and other legal professionals are eligible to participate in VOX IURA’s 1st National Quiz Competition on Constitutional Law.

Note : Please note that this competition is not team-based competition and thus each student shall register and participate individually.

3. THEME

Constitutional Law along with its amendments and recent judicial proponents.

4. RULES AND REGULATIONS

The competition comprises of three rounds - Preliminary, semi-finals and finals

Prelims:

The preliminary rounds will consist of 50 questions. The participants will be given 20 minutes to answer the questions on the google form. The link for the google form will be activated at 06:00 pm and will close sharply at 06:20. The participants will not given extra time in case of network/technical errors. The results will be notified to the participants within three hours.

In the event of tie-breaker rounds, the participants will be asked 5 questions. The tie-breaker rounds will be conducted on Google meet on 09/09/2020

Semi-finals:

Four participants will advance to the Semi-Final rounds. Each participant will be asked 5 questions and will be given 20 seconds to answer each question.

Finals:

Two participants will advance to the Final rounds. The Finalists will be asked 10 questions and will be given 15 seconds to answer each question.

In any event, the decision of the Organising Committee will be final.

Dress Code

The dress code for the participants during the Semi Final and Final Rounds of the competition shall be Western formals for gentlemen and Western or Indian Formals for ladies.

5. MODE OF COMPETITION

The link for the google form will sent to the participants prior to the commencement of the preliminary rounds.

The Semi- Final, Final and the Tie breaker rounds will be conducted on Google-Meet. The participants are requested to download the app prior to the commencement of the rounds.
